So for this post please reflect on one accomplishment you are proud that you accomplished and one friend or family member that has helped you in some way that your thankful for.

  1. Getting into the high school I wanted to is a big accomplishment of mine. Both my parents and my middle school friends all helped me study for the TACHS test and made sure I was remotely calm the day I took it. I don't know where I would've been today without the help from my parents and friends- for this I am very grateful.

  2. One accomplishment I am proud that I accomplished was the accomplishment of winning the presidential election in my middle school. This was a heavy task because I had just entered the school and was not well-known. My family members helped me by granting me confidence as well as financially supporting my campaign. My mom bought me pencils that wrote "Vote 4 Madison" as well as notebooks that read "Madison 4 President". She also bought cupcakes for me to hand out to voters. I am tremendously thankful for this because it helped to gain me popularity as well as votes. While my opponents were handing out candy, I went outside the box and won! For my mom and my family's encouragement I am eternally grateful.

  3. One accomplishment that I am proud of is that I made the soccer team even though I have never played soccer. I was really bad at the beginning of the year, but now, I'm much better at it and they're having me play goalie next season. Someone that has really helped me during the soccer season is my senior sister Shannon. She is the one who convinced me to try out in the first place, and every time I put myself down when I did something wrong she encouraged me and said I was getting better. I want to keep playing soccer because of her, and I am extremely thankful for all of the help she has given me throughout the soccer season and the school year.

  5. One accomplishment that I have done this year is getting good grades in biology. I have always struggled in biology and this year with the help of my mom, I have been getting good grades. My mom helps me by testing me and helping when I have a problem with biology and I couldn't have done it without her help.

This is/has been one of main goals since getting into this school and I am very happy that I have achieved it. Mainly my parents and my friends have helped me to reach to this goal. I also helped myself by studying and doing everything at a steady pace. For this I am so grateful.

  7. One accomplishment I am proud of is that I have gotten good grades all my life when I have worked for them. My best friend Heather has helped me get through everything. Since we were 5 she has been there for me and vise versa. She is an amazing person who has made me a better person everyday. I would not be where I am if it wasn’t for her believing in me and encouraging me no matter what and I am truly thankful for her.

  8. I thought becoming a 9th grader would be difficult but my friends and family have made it so easy. Getting into high school is one of my most amazing achievements. My parents are incredibly supportive of me even when I don't get a good grade on a test or forget my homework. They help me study and are incredibly loving towards me. I hope that when I grow up, I get to be as good a parent as my mother. My friends also make my school days easier and help me laugh when I'm moody or comfort me when I'm sad.

  15. Ruby W.

One accomplishment I have achieved is transitioning from middle school to high school and I have been getting good grades and I a learning in all my classes. I also feel that I can keep improving myself and gain more confidence as this year progresses. I could not do this without my mom and with out friends that cheer me up, and make me want to do better.I plan on making connections with my new teachers because at my middle school all my teachers got to know me.I am hopeful that I will find a place at school, and become more social so that I can also make connections with the students. I have also come up with a study plan for my classes which I want to improve a little more, so that I am prepared for anything.

  16. Going to high school has been both a major adjustment and accomplishment. One thing that I am proud of is how I manage my time in terms of homework and tests. My mother has been the biggest help through my transition to high school and has encouraged me to maintain my grades and stay determined throughout the year.
