Remember some of the things we learned throughout the year:
Listen to music while you study but do not listen to music with words. It will distract your mind.
Get proper sleep. Deep REM sleep helps your clear your mind and refresh your for the important work ahead.
Eat a good breakfast. Proper nutrition is crucial to performance.
Put the phone in another room while you study. Good luck.
One simple life hack I have when it comes to studying for finals is too use online studying games/websites to study instead of using my books. I like winning, so I have to study more so that I can get all/the most questions right. Two websites I use to study are Quizlet and Kahoot. Another simple life hack I have when it comes to studying for finals is to review with teachers and other students. Studying with people who are taking the final (students) and the people who are making the finals (teachers) has helped me greatly throughout the school year, and it's no different for finals.
ReplyDeleteFinals can be a very stressful time for many students, however, there are a few life hacks I find useful in preparing/studying for finals.
ReplyDelete1.Put your phone as far away from you as possible, to limit distractions.
2.Color code your subjects and keep all your papers neat.
3.Eat brain foods, such as bananas.
4. Find a quiet space to study proactively.
A life hack that helps me study for finals is highlighting. I highlight all of the important things in my study guide and I review that over and over again and it helps me focus on the main idea of the topic I am studying. Another life hack that I use for finals is taking breaks in between studying. This helps me retain the information I had just took in.
ReplyDeleteAs a student, I have acquired lack hacks that help me study for tests. Some of these life hacks are:
ReplyDelete-flashcards
-teach the material to my grandparents
-rewrite the material over and over
-use Quizlet to test myself
Some life hacks I have are prepping to study 5-3 days before a big test, study closer to the night time and take breaks during your studies. My first tip is to study 5-3 days before because this way you have enough time to get the information into your head and so that the last couple days it will more of a review than a study. My second tip was to study closer to the night that way when you sleep the information you just learned will be easier to remember and fresh in your head in your morning. Lastly my last hack is to take breaks between studying because studying back to back can get you tired and frustrated therefore studying with breaks in between will help.
ReplyDeleteOne technique that helps to prepare me for tests is reading the information out loud, acting as if I am the teacher. Saying the information over and over again helps me remember it for the test. Another life hack I use to study for tests is making a study guide and using flashcards. Writing the information on paper helps it refresh in my memory the next day. There are many different techniques to use to study but speaking out loud and making a study guide is the most helpful to me.
ReplyDeleteLife hacks to help me study for finals include making a detailed study guide so everything is in one place, using flashcards, reading to my mom, putting my phone on do not disturb, and studying in my room with the door closed. Also getting a good night sleep and eating a nutritious breakfast in the morning helps my mind to stay active.
ReplyDeleteWhen I am study for important tests such as finals I use flash cards and tests myself or have other people test me. I also talk to myself to make sure I understand what I am reading. I use my notes so no matter where I am I can study my notes.
